This newly updated space feels magical and mature with hints of whimsical details.
One of my favorite parts of this project is the Aurelia mosaic tile backsplash from Glazzio Tiles' mermaid collection. This stunning neutral tile adds a sense of playfulness and feels a bit whimsical, mimicking the look of fish scales. I think it's amazing when customers aren't afraid to play with something new and unfamiliar to them. At first, the homeowners were leaning towards a subway tile backsplash, but when I suggested this fun pattern instead, they trusted me, and it ended up being their favorite part of the project too! The backsplash pairs beautifully with the Oyster maple prairie cabinets from Marquis Fine Cabinetry. These cabinets are a gorgeous light-toned gray that complements the quartz countertops perfectly.
I absolutely adore the Calacatta Aurora quartz countertops by Daltile. They truly make this space feel expensive and luxurious, plus they tie all the bright, neutral details of this room together. The warmth of the Evoke Summit Vicky luxury vinyl flooring we went with adds a nice touch of contrast from the cooler tones in this room.
Our furniture designer, Jenine, added her magical touch to this project by helping these customers customize a new kitchen table. They opted for this modern Canadel wood top table and chairs. A great choice to create a cozy space where the homeowners can sit and enjoy their new kitchen.
