Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This year, Benson Stone Company is proud to celebrate 96 years as a family business right here in Rockford!
Our story is a testament to the American spirit. In 1930, at the start of the Great Depression, our founders, Martin O. Benson and his son M. Howard, opened a small stone-cutting shop with simple, common-sense values. They believed that quality craftsmanship at an affordable price was the recipe for lasting success. Ninety-six years later, we’re proud to say they were right.
Time-Honored Values
What began as a modest stone-cutting shop has grown into an iconic home design destination. Today, Benson Stone Company is a fixture of the Rockford community, and we’re honored to call this place home.
For more than nine decades, we’ve built our reputation on the same family values:
- Expertise: Our award-winning team of designers, craftsmen, and home experts, many with decades of industry experience, will guide your project from start to finish and help you make the most of your home.
- Affordability: We believe quality craftsmanship should fit your budget. Our neighborhood location keeps our costs low, and we pass those savings on to you. That means higher-quality products at a lower price than the big box stores.
Continuing the Legacy
Every year we’re reminded how much we have to be grateful for. As the fifth generation of the Benson family carries our legacy forward, we want to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued trust and for welcoming us into your home for nearly a century.
Year 96 is another step toward our centennial, and we couldn’t ask for better neighbors to walk it with. We invite you to celebrate with us!
