I’m thrilled to share my latest project—a kitchen remodel in a 100-year-old Tudor-style home!
The original closed-off layout wasn’t working for the homeowners, so I opened up the space. This simple design change blends its historic charm with modern functionality in this home design. We went with bright linen cabinets by Marquis and Kolams Quartz countertops by Wilsonart, which paired beautifully with the penny tile backsplash from Glazzio Tiles. These homeowners wanted to keep true to their timeless home design, and I believe we did just that! One of my favorite details in this kitchen is the breakfast nook, a cozy original feature, that is the perfect spot for morning coffee.
The living room in this home is all about comfort and charm, In the living room, we added custom furniture from Smith Brothers of Berne, Inc. to fit the space perfectly, adding both style and durability. To enhance the cozy vibe, we chose ambient lighting with beautiful mica shades on the table and floor lamps from Uttermost. The original fireplace still serves as the heart of the room, making it the perfect place to unwind. I absolutely love how warm and inviting this home design is!
I loved working on this project, and I’d love to help you with yours! Call us at Benson Stone Company to start planning your remodel today.
