Scandinavian Style Kitchen Remodel in Rockton, IL

Kitchen Design Overview 

Here’s a lovely kitchen remodel in Rockton, IL from our designer, Jessica! This one’s got a beautiful transitional style — a little bit shabby chic, and a little bit Scandinavian. 

For this project, we designed two-tone custom cabinetry, with white for the perimeter and a cool charcoal blue for the kitchen island. The uppers feature glass doors, which is a popular choice for showing off a cute dish set and adding some more depth to the design. The brushed gold hardware was selected to coordinate with the gorgeous appliances. Have you ever seen such a pretty refrigerator and stove? 

We chose a popular snowy white quartz for the countertops, and they’re complimented by a whimsical marble mosaic tile backsplash. The natural-looking LVT floors add a slightly rustic touch. Finally, the cozy upholstered furniture and the evergreen decor keep the room feeling homey and warm. 

Overall, we achieved a very cheerful, welcoming look in this new kitchen, and the homeowner is thrilled!
