We’re pleased to share some photos of the wrap-around quartz bar top we installed at Henry Dorrbaker’s in downtown Beloit – a new entertainment venue with an old-school twist. They offer a variety of games to play with your friends, like duckpin bowling, mini golf, vintage arcade games and a giant bar with pub fare, craft cocktails and brews. At the heart of this energetic space, you’ll find the stunning wrap-around quartz bar top we proudly fabricated and installed.

For this epic bar, we chose Kiva Levante Smoke quartz. This remarkable stone effortlessly marries sophistication with durability – a perfect choice for a high-traffic, extravagant pub like Henry Dorrbaker’s. The photographs truly capture the essence of this installation and highlight our team’s unparalleled skill and precision. Their expertise is evident in every detail, from the smooth blended seams to the immaculate matte finish on the quartz. This finish, in particular, complements the bar’s industrial-style decor with an understated rawness that strikingly resembles concrete, adding to the venue’s unique aesthetic.

I’m in love with this light and elegant kitchen we worked on in Roscoe, IL. The homeowner tragically fell victim to a house fire. Thankfully, the owner and her dog were safe from the disaster, but the home needed some major TLC. I was honored to be asked to work on the remodel alongside A-1 Restoration, and the opportunity to turn something tragic into something beautiful and exciting.

We brought in some much-needed brightness and elegance to this kitchen with ivory cabinets from Marquis Fine Cabinetry and Dallas White granite countertops. The pops of light purple in the granite give a luxurious contemporary feel to the room.

We elevated the living room by adding a floor-to-ceiling fireplace surrounded by silver travertine natural stone flats. Isn’t it amazing?! It complements the Flexsteel power recliner sectional perfectly, creating a harmonious and cozy feel. Shoutout to our furniture designer, Robert, for helping the client pick out this nice piece! 👏

The master bathroom was completely transformed by the stunning Cambria Halewood quartz and Jeffrey Alexander Brands matte black hardware. The shower feels spacious and tranquil with the use of Articulo Editorial White tiles lining the walls and Glazzio Tiles’s Dotted Blend penny rounds covering the floor. We love it when different textures and finishes come together to create something remarkable!

Finally, the new vinyl flooring throughout the home really ties this light and elegant kitchen remodel together!

I was moved and motivated to make a positive impact on this customer after hearing about their house fire incident. Though it was a terrible circumstance to meet, I enjoyed going above and beyond to create this gorgeous kitchen for my client. Seeing the customer laugh and smile in their new space feels very rewarding to me. I love that I get to play a role in making someone’s life richer and more enjoyable.

I’m thrilled to share this stunning modern open-concept kitchen transformation! This home already possessed beautiful bones, and we had the pleasure of enhancing its natural charm.

Built in 2003, the main floor of the house boasted gorgeous ceilings and flooring, but the homeowners desired a more harmonious layout that would complement these beautiful features. They envisioned an airy, inviting space that didn’t make the kitchen feel closed off. After all, when it comes to hosting, the host deserves to be fully immersed in their company. Our first major step was removing the wall that separated the kitchen from the living room, instantly creating that open, fluid feel they wanted.

The original maple cabinets were replaced with fresh, light David Bradley cabinets to complement the existing wood details. We collaborated closely with the clients to select a custom paint color, Sherwin Williams’ Balanced Beige, which brought a sense of calm and unity to the space.

The shift from dark countertops to a bright, luminous quartz by Cambria was truly transformative. It completely revitalized the look and feel of the room, adding a touch of modern elegance.

One of my favorite aspects of this project was the strategic reconfiguration of space. We eliminated the walk-in pantry, which the clients found cumbersome and difficult to organize, and widened the hallway entrance. Instead, we designed a pantry with convenient roll-out shelves, maximizing accessibility and functionality.

When I asked the homeowners what their favorite part of the renovation was, they immediately mentioned the removal of the dividing wall. It had previously housed their television, but we relocated it to the opposite wall, ensuring that anyone in the kitchen could enjoy the entertainment. As they shared, “It was a game-changer for our Super Bowl party this year, because I could cook, host, and watch the game at the same time!” It was incredibly rewarding to see how this simple change enhanced their lifestyle,

I love witnessing transformations like this, where a space feels completely rejuvenated. It’s even more gratifying when the clients share my enthusiasm for the results. This modern open-concept kitchen was so much fun to work on!

I’m thrilled to share a recent kitchen renovation that combines elegance and practicality. The homeowners envisioned a bright, transitional space and we were delighted to bring their vision to life. 

We began by selecting a palette of calm, neutral tones, setting the stage for a serene and inviting atmosphere. The David Bradley cabinets, with their classic raised panel doors, provided the perfect foundation for our mission. We chose a lovely linen paint color for the perimeter cabinets that created a light and airy feel, while the island, stained in a rich chestnut, added a warm, inviting focal point. The contrast between these two colors created a beautiful visual depth.

We paired all this cabinetry with honey bronze hardware from Top Knobs. These cabinet pulls add warmth and sophistication to the overall look of the space. Once again it complements that neutral color palette we were aiming for.

A show-stopping feature of this project is the Taj Mahal quartzite used for the table island and countertops. This wasn’t just a design choice; it was a practical one. Quartzite is hard, durable, and resistant to staining. The expansive surface offers ample workspace, perfect for everything from daily meal preparation to casual gatherings. The integration of more storage on the island plus a built-in microwave cabinet keeps the countertops clutter-free, providing a seamless cooking and hosting experience.

One of our favorite transformations was the conversion of the original laundry room into a stunning butler pantry. This space became a powerhouse of functionality, featuring a second dishwasher, a beverage cooler, and an abundance of storage, all meticulously planned and executed. The continuation of the Taj Mahal quartzite into the pantry creates a cohesive and elegant flow throughout the entire space.

We transformed this space into a bright, open layout that’s perfect for entertaining and everyday living.

We started by selecting durable luxury vinyl plank flooring by Evoke, a smart choice for high-traffic areas. The homeowners wanted to bring some of the charm of their home’s exterior into the kitchen, and I made sure to weave those elements seamlessly into the design.

The centerpiece of this kitchen is the custom cabinetry by Woodharbor in a rich graphite color. These maple cabinets offer tons of storage space while pairing beautifully with the sleek pulls and handles from Jeffrey Alexander Brands, adding a polished, sophisticated touch.

For the countertops, the homeowners were drawn to the stunning stone selections. We chose Brava Blue Quartzite for the island, which makes a bold statement, and White Fantasy Leathered granite along the perimeter. The contrast between the two stones adds depth and character to the space, giving the kitchen a unique and timeless look.

To tie it all together, I went with a mosaic picket tile backsplash by Soci Tile and Sinks. The way we oriented these tiles added a contemporary touch to the design, and they beautifully complement the countertops and cabinetry. The under-cabinet lighting enhances the backsplash, showcasing every detail.

I’m incredibly proud of how this kitchen came together. The homeowners couldn’t be happier, and the space now feels open, stylish, and completely functional for their lifestyle.

I’m so excited to share a kitchen remodel set in a charming home built in 1962!

These homeowners wanted to embrace their mid-century modern aesthetic, and we worked together to bring that vision to life with style and personality.

For this project, we chose custom cherry cabinets by Dura Supreme Cabinetry. The rich, warm wood tones capture the mid-century look we were going for perfectly. We paired the cabinetry with sleek matte black pulls from Schaub Hardware for a modern contrast. I love how the clean lines of the cabinets create a sleek, sophisticated look that feels both timeless and fresh. To add some color and visual interest, we went with a full-height tile backsplash, which brings a bold, dramatic element to the space. It’s such a fun pop of color that really livens up the room!

Additionally, one of my favorite elements in this kitchen is the stunning quartzite countertops. We went for waterfall edges on all four corners of the island, and one edge is uniquely asymmetrical, giving the space a truly custom look. The homeowner was really hands-on in this part of the project, working closely with Bryan, our talented lead granite installer, to make sure every detail was perfect. It’s one of my favorite details of the design because it adds so much personality and craftsmanship to the kitchen.

This remodel perfectly blends mid-century modern flair with the sophistication and warmth the homeowners wanted. The end result is a space that feels cohesive, welcoming, and full of character, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
